Ocean Link, Inc. Announces Plans to Double Operations at Crossroads Expansion, Add Two Major New Warehouse Facilities
SAVANNAH, GA. – Ocean Link, a major storage and shipping company headquartered in Port Wentworth, recently signed leases with North Point Real Estate, the leading developer at Crossroads Business Center, to occupy two new warehouses at Crossroads Expansion, more than doubling its current storage capacity at this popular mixed-use business park.
Ocean Link currently occupies a 438,000 square-foot warehouse at Crossroads Business Center, which is located off Jimmy DeLoach Parkway. Due to increased customer demand, the company decided to expand its warehouse operations for 2007.
The company will move into a 176,000-square-foot warehouse, which is currently under construction at Crossroads Expansion, in March of 2007. Ocean Link also plans to occupy a 432,000-square-foot warehouse, which is currently in the site work phase, in December of 2007.

Ocean Link’s strategic storage and shipping location -- with easy access to the airport, the Port of Savannah, and I-95 -- has helped the company grow over the past several years. With acres of outside storage and a CSX rail siding, the Ocean Link warehouses at Crossroads Expansion are also designed to handle cross docking, container stuffing, container stripping and heavy lifts.

North Point principals have developed more than three million square feet of office and warehouse space at Crossroads Business Center and at Crossroads Expansion, and signed a lease with Midwest Air Technologies earlier this month to occupy 225,000 square feet of warehouse space. The mixed-use business park is home to more than five million square feet of industrial space, headquarters operations and Savannah Technical College’s newest campus. Wal-Mart, Home Depot and Pier 1 all have major distribution centers at Crossroads Business Park.
