Southbridge Fall Showcase Home Extravaganza to Feature Luxurious Custom Homes and New Grand Lake Lodge and Spa on October 15 & 16
SAVANNAH, Ga. – Southbridge, one of Georgia’s premier master-planned communities, will feature more than a dozen of its luxurious new homes as well as the new Grand Lake Lodge and Spa at the Southbridge Showcase Home Extravaganza, a weekend-long celebration that is free and open to the public.
“Southbridge is such a diverse community,” says Dan Whalen, vice president of sales and marketing at Southbridge. “This event will showcase the many advantages families enjoy when they choose to live at Southbridge.”
The Southbridge Showcase Home Extravaganza will be held on Saturday, October 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, October 16 from noon to 4 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments and festivities throughout both weekends, as well as a sneak peek at Southbridge’s newest amenity, the Grand Lake Lodge and Spa, featuring a state-of-the-art fitness center, a full-service spa and an on-site restaurant.
“This exciting new facility has truly raised the standard for resort-style living along the Georgia coast,” said Whalen. “The Grand Lake Lodge & Spa offers resort-quality amenities for Southbridge residents and guests. Our residents are thrilled that such a world-class facility is now open at Southbridge.”
With exceptional architecture, grand spaces and recreational indulgences, The Grand Lake Lodge & Spa offers numerous advantages to Southbridge residents and their guests. This 23,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility includes a dramatic three-story entryway featuring a massive brick hearth in the foyer and traditional lodge-style décor with comfortable leather sofas and elegant area rugs. The fitness center features Life Fitness cardio equipment with personalized digital screens, Hoist strength equipment, an extensive free weight area and a dedicated group exercise room and Yoga Studio. Adjacent men’s and women’s locker rooms have each been outfitted with steam and sauna facilities.
“The fitness center at the Grand Lake Lodge & Spa combines high-end equipment with personalized attention from a certified staff and the very best of private club living,” said Keith Kilgore, a principal at ClubSource, the company which designed, constructed and now manages the facility. “We are delighted with the final result and have received an excellent response from our club members.”
Southbridge Fall Extravaganza
Upstairs, the facility features a full-service spa, with four elegant treatment rooms for Southbridge members and guests. Spa services, which are available by appointment, include a wide range of massages, facials, body wraps, manicures, pedicures, body scrubs and hydrotherapy. Private rooms for physical therapy and personalized Pilates training are available on the spa level. The upstairs level also provides a spacious, versatile meeting room for weddings, luncheons and community events. The meeting room can accommodate up to 170 people.
The Grand Lake Lodge & Spa’s Aquatics Center will also be open for tours throughout both weekends of the Southbridge Showcase Home Extravaganza. The Aquatics Center features a water slide, children’s spray area, poolside snack bar, lap swimming area and a beach entry, as well as sand volleyball courts, basketball courts, a children's play area and jogging trails.
With more than a dozen homes on display, the tour will feature newly-constructed homes located primarily in the Woodland Lakes neighborhood at Southbridge. The custom homes featured at the Southbridge Showcase Home Extravaganza have been constructed by companies that are part of the community’s Preferred Homebuilder’s Program including Hallmark Homes, Integrity Custom Builders, Encore Homes, C.E. Hall, Ernest Construction, Jack Robertson, Sugar Magnolia Homes and Berge and Hiatt.
The Southbridge Showcase Home Extravaganza will also offer the opportunity to tour exquisitely-appointed models at The Woodlands, the only gated community in Southbridge. The Woodlands features spacious maintenance-free villas located in the heart of this popular golf and spa community.

The Southbridge Golf Clubhouse completed a $450,000 expansion and renovation last year, which provided additional space for dining, entertainment and special events.
