River Oaks in Richmond Hill Announces 50 Percent of Luxury Villas Sold in Seven Months
RICHMOND HILL, Ga. – River Oaks, a new gated community nestled along the banks of the Ogeechee River in Richmond Hill, has officially announced that one-half of its 146 luxury villas have sold in just seven months.

The first phase of construction at River Oaks broke ground in March, but units have been on sale since December of 2004. Construction on the first phase is expected to be completed by Spring 2006.
There are two types of homes to choose from at River Oaks. In the River Buildings, which feature breathtaking views of the Ogeechee River, homeowners can choose between two popular models, each of which is named after a Georgia sound. The Sapelo is a three-bedroom, two-bath villa which measures approximately 1,770 square feet. The St. Catherine, which offers 1,950 square feet of living space, features three bedrooms and two and a half baths.
In the Nature Buildings, homeowners also have a choice between two models, each of which has been aptly named after the surrounding wildlife. The Egret is a three-bedroom, two-bath villa with 2,300 square feet of living space. The Osprey, which boasts 2,780 square feet plus an unfinished bonus room that can increase the unit to 3,100 square feet, has three bedrooms and two and a half baths.
Surrounded by stately live oaks draped with Spanish moss, pine forests and cypress trees, River Oaks is a nature-lover’s paradise. The private, maintenance-free community features a wide range of amenities including a waterfront swimming and fitness center, river house and a proposed boat dock accommodating 20 to 25 boats.
The spacious villas range from 1,770 to 2,870 square feet, providing an open floor plan, traditional styling, and state-of-the-art amenities. Each unit comes with premium tile and carpet, crown moldings, Corian countertops and high-end appliances, but many upgrades are also available.

The architecture at River Oaks showcases traditional Southern style villas, with decorative exterior accents and prices start at $325,000. The waterfront community is located on Hwy. 144 in Richmond Hill, approximately 4.5 miles east of I-95.
The River Oaks community is being developed by North Point Real Estate, a Savannah-based development company behind the creation of Southbridge, a popular residential community in west Chatham County.
